No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Cloud Website Hosting
We guarantee the integrity of the data uploaded in every single cloud website hosting account that is made on our cloud platform as we use the advanced ZFS file system. The latter is the only one which was designed to avoid silent data corruption through a unique checksum for each and every file. We'll store your info on a number of SSD drives which work in a RAID, so identical files will be present on several places at once. ZFS checks the digital fingerprint of all the files on all of the drives in real time and in the event that the checksum of any file differs from what it needs to be, the file system replaces that file with an undamaged version from another drive from the RAID. There's no other file system that uses checksums, so it's easy for data to get silently damaged and the bad file to be reproduced on all drives over time, but since that can never happen on a server running ZFS, you will not have to worry about the integrity of your information.
No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you obtain one of our semi-dedicated server plans, you won't have to worry about silent file corruption since we use ZFS - a high level file system that keeps track of all of the files in real time. Every time you upload a file to your account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. That file will be synchronized between several SSD drives for redundancy, so if one drive fails, the other ones will take over. ZFS compares the checksum of all of the copies on the different drives and in case it detects a corrupted copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from a different drive. This is done right away, so there will be no risk for any part of your content at any moment. In contrast, other file systems carry out checks only after a system malfunction, but since they do not use anything similar to the checksums that ZFS uses, they cannot detect silently corrupted files, so a bad copy could be replicated on the rest of the disks as well and you could lose precious data. Since this isn't the case with ZFS, we can warrant the integrity of each file you upload no matter what.
