Multiple OS in VPS Servers
Our VPS server packages include three Linux distributions that you may choose from for the Operating System of your new hosting server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Aside from being totally free, the OSs are really stable and safe and the reason to offer you the three of them is to ensure that you will be able to run each app that you'd like, because different pieces of software have different requirements for the environment they can be used on. Each of the three OSs is backed by a vast community of developers who have produced thousands of software packages that you can set up and use on your VPS. Depending on the Operating System which you select, you will also be able to choose between 3 different Control Panels to manage your website hosting content. Needless to say, should you decide that you need a different OS, we can always re-install the server with it. As an optional upgrade, we also offer you weekly updates of the Operating System for max stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are absolutely free and they will not increase the price of your new server, but also because they are very stable and secure. Each one of them is supported by a vast community of web developers, so you will be able to choose from many hundreds of software packages that you can install on your server if the app that you intend to employ has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and because we would like to provide you with as much flexibility as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you get a server with a certain OS, we can change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you need a different one. We can also keep your OS updated weekly as part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
